HB 528: Students are exposed to Native American poetry and literature. Students write
their own Coyote-type tales. Guest speakers and story tellers are invited in to talk to the
class. Students also participate in reservation-wide contests that incorporate the language
arts.
Assessment: Students are assessed through daily assignments, writing projects, tests,
and whole language projects and presentations.
