LATE POST: 10/10/24 Our high school Salish classes went on a field trip to Lolo Pass to gather x̣asqs and mountain tea and learn about various traditional plants. Students were able to learn from our Elders Myrna, Kathy and Rosemary and gather for their families and our classroom supply. It was a x̣est time!

Huge thanks to our Salish Language and Culture teacher Lauren Clairmont for her work in teaching our students to make traditional dry meat. Kyle H. And Vinny S. harvested both deer. We had lots of community members l, knowledge keepers, and elders who came and talked and worked alongside our students. A lot of valuable knowledge was passed on and shared. Ms. Clairmonts classes look forward to gaining more practice and experience in the future. Lemlmts Lauren! #bulldogtraditions

Mrs. Krantz's classes were fortunate enough to be able to spend time in the outdoor classroom at the school garden. They made leaf art, had a fire, and made smores. Fall is fun folks! #gobulldogs #outdoorclassroom
