The CSKT Tribal Education Department is once again offering free tutoring to K-12 tribal members and descendants. The tutors are experienced reservation teachers, and our department handles all the coordination of the program. Parents can sign up their kids easily at this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdn6JzGKAtOTSXwlcp78QLO3HnCz7Tl6dAKNTI-nKmMSPl-fw/viewform?usp=sf_link There is no end date for sign-ups, but the more support the kids have earlier in the year, the better they’ll do long-term. Covid Update: School District #28 has added the current numbers to our Website (www.stignatiusschools.org) under Covid Case Report. These numbers include the confirmed current cases and the total from the school year. These numbers will be updated daily. The school must get confirmations from the health departments which takes time. Therefore, understand that as we get confirmation we are adding the numbers to the list daily. We are also contacting Tribal Health and County Health often for updated information that we need confirmed. Covid Update
Parents, Welcome! My name is Sally Meier and I am the Unit Director for the Mission Club. We are quickly approaching the first day of the Mission Boys & Girls Club. The Club will open MONDAY, September 27th at 3:20PM. I am excited to meet all of you and build relationships with you and your children. There are a few pieces to becoming a Club Family that are important to a great start. They are: 1. Please make sure to notify the school that your child(ren) will be attending the Club. This is especially important for the younger kids. Teachers will send the kids to the Club at the end of the school day. Once they get into the routine, you should only need to notify the school if they are NOT attending Club on a specific day. 2. Parent orientation meetings are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday (Sept 29-30) at 6PM. These are required for your child(ren) attendance. If you are unable to attend either of these, please let us know and we can schedule a one time individual appointment. At this meeting, we will cover daily schedules and activities, the Club's school-year calendar, and other pieces to Club life that make for a successful school year. 3.If you have not already done so, please make sure you have paid membership fees by Oct 1st, (school year fee is $80, that can be paid in one payment or monthly, one payment required per child). There has been a bit of confusion about this piece. Please let us know if we can help. 4. Club regular hours are Monday-Thursday 3:20P-7P and Friday 2:15P-6P. Specifically for this week, since Friday is a school PIR day, we will be open 12P-6P. 5. The Club entrance to pick up your children is the East Gate Door located by the 3-5 playground and outdoor basketball court. Saving this email address in your contacts will ensure that you receive pertinent notifications. We are also available by phone at 406-744-2100. Please reach out to us if you have any questions. Again, we are excited to get to know your families! For the Kids, Sally Meier Sally Meier and the Mission Club team mission@flatheadbgc.org flatheadbgc.org 406-744-2100 front desk

Message for Parents/Staff/Students: As a result of Illness, Colds, Flu and Covid rising in our county, town, and school community, and as our absences continue to climb as a result of numerous factors, we ask you to continue to self-monitor your children’s health and keep them home when they exhibit any symptoms of illness of any kind. We want to do what we can as a school district to slow down the spread of Illness and Covid. With that, we ask that you strongly consider having your child wear a mask at school. We will be asking the staff to strongly consider this as well. If your student needs a mask, masks will be available for students when they walk in their school tomorrow morning. Thank you for your consideration.
